I am curious as to why the www/joomla3 port installs from GitHub, looks like the port is better for Joomla code development than to run a CMS.
There are LOTS of files in the port install that is not needed to run Joomla. I thought the recommended way is to fetch the latest version from joomla.org: https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla3/3-8-7/Joomla_3-8-7-Stable-Full_Package.zip?format=zip Can someone please enlighten me here?
