I downloaded it, but I think I'm not sure how to play it. I know how to play chess, but this version of GNU Chess doesn't display a board. It just outputs this: >GNU Chess 5.05 > >Transposition table: Entries=1K Size=40k >Pawn hash table: Entries=0k Size=28k >White (1) : There's no chess board, so no obvious way to move pieces. I was expecting to see a chess board in the starting position. I think this GNU Chess is essentially running in "mail chess" mode, similar to when people in different regions would mail (on postcards) their chess moves to each other. Or am I doing something wrong here?
