Thanks, but I don't think that anyone involved here (Uwe, Bob, me) does not know the theory. The W3C standards is pretty irrelevant to the original problem. Bob, I will remove my fix (limiting ALT length), since it is redundant with your fix (specifying explicit image sizes).
