Ah so that's the reason.  120kB seems to be huge.  What is using
so much space?  The background image plus the logo take up 57kB,
so there are still about 69kB left to explain.  Is it because of
the (uncompressed?) gifs?  Is there any alternative to gifs?  How
about reducing the size of the background image?  At 2/3 of the
original size at quality 0.65 it shrinks to 17274 bytes
(attached).
