You don't need the KDE3 components, unless you really want KHTML. As for QT3, Ubuntu should have binary packages of it. Otherwise drop this distribution and use another one. :-) Gambas will support QT4. But the component is not finished, there are many bugs it because of the changes between QT3 and QT4. I don't have the time at the moment to finish it, I am very busy with theatre, and my job (I have to put the map of Paris on the internet). As for KDE4, I don't know. KDE4 is full of bugs yet, and what is really useful is a web browser control. I think WebKit will be the solution, as it works both for QT and GTK+.
