When settings are written back to the ".conf" file all comments/remarks 
are stripped from the file.
Should not the documentation include a warning to this effect?
Better yet would be to keep those comments/remarks intact.

example incoming:
[slot]
; remark
# remark
; comment
Value0ne =1
ValueTwo =2
ValueThree =3
# end of file

example outgoing:
[slot]
Value0ne =1
ValueTwo =2
ValueThree =3
