Hi, Raul.
Man, there is a tun of differences between the two games. Some are
cosmetic, and others are not so cosmetic.

1. You command 5 ships rather than 4.
2. You must fight a total of 15 enemies instead of 12.
3. The Klingons can cloak in STFC where in Trek 2k they could not.
4. You get to command Defiant which means in STFC you have one ship with
a working cloaking device in Trek 2k the old Constilation-class Defiant
didn't have one.
5. Ememies are smarter, tuffer, and much more difficult in STFC.
6. You get to face off with the Borg which is a unique challenge in of
itself.
7. STFC is completely self voicing and Trek 2k was not.
8. STFC uses extremely high-quality effects to hopefully sound as good
as it can.
9. in my code I can turn on virtual 3D to give the game a virtual 3D
effect although it is buggy, and turned it off for the time being to
standard stereo. In Trek 2k the sounds really have no special audio
positioning effects other than the bridge.
Hth.
