gEDA-user: choosing power MOSFET's

Can anyone help?  I am not certain on how to weed my way through the 
very broad offering of MOSFET's.  The application is for class-D audio 
amp.  Things like gate charge have me a little lost.  Rds makes sense in 
that it affects the power consumed in the fets.  Ramp time and ton/toff 
have me a tad confused also.  Why don't the manufactures list a ton min? 
 They seem to always list Ton max, though.

I am open to any suggestions.
