The reason that I asked was to find out whether I would be able to
provide clients with files in their preferred format, but use gEDA as
a base. Theoretically I don't think it would be difficult if the
formatting details are know.

        Unfortunately, I am unaware of any conversion tools from gEDA
to other tools.  However, the gEDA file format is well documented, so
if you know the file formats for the other tools, it shouldn't be too
hard to develop the necessary converter.
