My SC worked fine with Alsa. I installed it per the
directions and Alsa had no problems. I added only sound
as a module and nothing else, then merged Alsa-driver,
util, oss.

I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and I've heard that ALSA

the card is not any better than what is available in the

about to recompile mykernel with support for my card. I
