because there is Try, copy the blender-2.23-r1-ebuild to blender-2.27 and try it again. Maybe you are lucky, maybe not. Than you can do something great and edit/write a new ebuild. I just looked into the dir and there is indeed a blender-2.27-ebuild. You could try env ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -pu blender or look into package.mask...
