What you'll probably want to do is to go here:

ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD/

Download the binary for linux and stick it 
somewhere, ie. /usr/bin. Next take a look at the 
readme, it will tell you that to use the program, 
you need to 'export' a key. My sugestion is to 
make a shell script (call it dvdrecord if you want)
which exports the key and runs the binary. Happpy
burning.
