probably in the near future there will be KDE 3.1.3 available for normal Gentoo users, right? I'm just curious: what will happen when I then call an emerge kde? Will all old settings be preserved, the old KDE sources+binaries be overwritten by the new KDE and the system be as stable as before? Or would it be better to use konstruct and get my new KDE source tree in a separate directory in ~?
