I recommend vi - it's fun!

(My iptables rules now permit MASQ from the wired lan only, restrict the
wlan to certain ports and certain ips, automatically set up port forwards
when games are started on the gaming machine and a few other bells and
whistles. I may have got carried away once I figured out how it works!)
