Hello I have a dell inspiron 8000. As far as i understand the laptop supports speedstep for cpu in acpi and the power mangment in apm. I compiled the vanilla-sources for 2.4.22 which i got with emerge.
It seems that driver/char/apm_bios.o module is needed for apm to work and its not present in the source I have on the system. Whats the deal hear ? Do i need to download the sources elsewere ? felix -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
