I wonder what's going on with those version numbers. I currently use a gentoo-stable kernel (sys-kernel/gs-sources-2.4.21_rc8). But for some time now when trying to update a package it tells me to update sys-kernel/linux-headers as well - from 2.4.19 to 2.4.19-r1. Why 2.4._19_, although I use 2.4.21? How's that meant?

Shouldn't I have installed sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.4.21, which is also available in portage-tree?
