Depends <G>. If you use KDE no reason not to use kdm. If you aren't (like me) I really don't want to pull in a KDE item that will bring in at least part of KDE's stuff and add more bloat.

The default during install is to use xdm, yet the K desktop docs recommend using kdm. Any reason not to switch to kdm?
