so, since gcc is version 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5,
propolice-3.3-7) on my workstation and 3.3 20030304 (apple computer,
inc. build 1495) on the mac, it should in theory work, yea? Hmmm. now
for a test build!!!
