Just out of interest.. Is it smart enough on a multi processor machine to dedicate one CPU for each emerge/compile?
Also would it do a similar trick for "hyper threaded" CPU's? -----Original Message----- From: Collins Richey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 13 February 2004 11:30 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [gentoo-user] Safe? If there are no duplicates, fire away. Of course, you may slow everything down unless you have a very fast cpu. -- Collins - Denver Area - Gentoo stable kernel 2.6.2-rc1 -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
