I am trying to rebuild with the following command: emerge -uD --newuse world
All goes well up till it tries to compile: media-libs/libquicktime-0.9.2_pre1
It fails with: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.5/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
I understand the error, what I do not know is where do you get GL lib.
My use flages are: USE="apm alsa arts avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr crypt cups dvd encode fortran f77 foomaticdb gdbm gif gpm gnome gstreamer gtk gtk2 imlib java jpeg kde libg++ libwww madmikmod mmx motif mpeg ncurses nls nptl oggvorbis opengl pam pdflib png python qt quicktime readline sdl spell ssl svga tcltk tcpd truetype usb X xml2 xmms xv zlib x86"
The output of: emerge -upv --newuse libquicktime is : [ebuild R ] media-libs/libquicktime-0.9.2_pre1 +gtk +jpeg +mmx* +oggvorbis +png 0 kB
