Maybe you don't really need the e100 package to get your NIC running. The necessary module should be part of every kernel and works without problems. I don't even have the e100 package installed. My NIC: Ethernet controller: Intel Corp. 82801CAM (ICH3) PRO/100 VE (LOM) Ethernet Controller (rev 42) Kernel Config: CONFIG_E100=m CONFIG_E100_NAPI=y Hope this helps, richard
