All, I have a site using OpenLayers, hitting Geoserver 2.14.1 with a WFS Getfeature request for JSON. Works fine in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, but not in IE or Edge (imagine that). When I put the request string directly in IE, I get an eror log that opens with this:
"* Activation of https://******/geoserver/wfs?service=WFS&version=1.1.0&request=GetFeature&typename=pema:rwis&outputFormat=application/json&srsname=EPSG:3857 resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected: + Exception reading manifest from https://******/geoserver/wfs?service=WFS&version=1.1.0&request=GetFeature&typename=pema:rwis&outputFormat=application/json&srsname=EPSG:3857: the manifest may not be valid or the file could not be opened. + Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1." Any thoughts on this?
