Hi,
so I've pushed out gt2 2.4.2 and thus the freeze on 2.4.x is
no more active.
Can anybody of you make some checks before we announce for good?
(like building the sources, checking the announcement and so on)?

This is a bug fix release and should be considered stable.

Features:
* many ArcSDE datastore improvement, especially in feature writing
   and connection handling
* DB2 datastore now users WKB for geometry transfer
* reprojection subsystem does not throw exceptions anymore for
   "out of world" lon/lat coordinates making it easier to use for
   typical clients where the user is allowed to zoom out to
   whatever planar extensions he likes
* various other minor fixes
