Because of internal usage of ConcurrentHashMap wher a null value is not allowed the following exception occurs during try to unset value:
EvnFunction.setGlobalValue("whatever", null)
Exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at java.util.concurrent.ConcurrentHashMap.put(ConcurrentHashMap.java:1124)
at org.geotools.filter.function.EnvFunction.setGlobalValue(EnvFunction.java:199)
EnvFunction doesn't provide methods to remove keys for global/local settings
