Ross, THANK YOU for your reply. Now I have something to look at. Can I automate the use of GDirections with over 1000 distances needed? I have over a 1000 rows of data with latitude and longitude for point A to point B. Can I run GDirections passing in the latitude and longitude for point A and B and get the road distance for each row?
I'm not sure of the limitations. Thank You Jerry On Feb 9, 11:59 am, Rossko <[email protected]> wrote: > > When I get my distance in > > miles i'm not sure if it is a stright line from point A to point B or > > is it the actual road distance from the two points? > > We're not sure either, it depends how/who/what you're asking for the > distance and we can't see how you're doing that from here. > > 'road distance' is available from GDirections > straight line distance is available directly from GLatLngs > > cheers, Ross K --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
