If you mean to install and run the Gnome desktop environment, no. macOS can run
only its own desktop environment directly. If you want to run the Gnome desktop
environment on your Mac you can do so using a virtual machine running Linux or
install Linux on your Mac in a dual-boot setup. Running Linux is an excellent
way to keep older Macs that Apple no longer supports running with an up-to-date
and secure operating system.

If on the other hand you mean can you run Gnome programs on macOS, yes. Take a
look at Homebrew (https://brew.sh <https://brew.sh/>) and MacPorts
(https://www.macports.org <https://macports.org/>). Many of the major Gnome
applications like The Gimp, Inkscape, and GnuCash provide drag-and-drop macOS
application bundles that you can simply install and use like any other macOS
application.

This mailing list for developers of applications in that last category who use
a particular toolset, https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk-osx.

John Ralls
