Does someone know the history of our existing slib.scm? Is it a slightly or heavily modified version of an earlier slib guile.init? Also, does anyone already have an idea whether the upstream is likely to be interested in changes that might make our integration/maintenance easier, presuming we can figure out what that might entail?
