I've only been using the beta for a short time, so don't have too
many observations other than the following. After installing the new
ECI Eloquence, and have noticed that when in the mail box menu of the
aforementioned version of Eudora, that Eloquence is very very slow in
response when pressing a letter repeatedly in order to find a
particular mail box. For example, I was able with SAPI 4 Eloquence
to quickly press the v key five times in order to reach the VRStream
box in the list, but if I go just a bit too fast, I only get to the
viccug box, and am forced to thumb my way to the VRStream box, or
just keep pressing at a gingerly pace until I finally come to the
desired box. I sure hope there is a solution for this problem, or
that hopefully it is possible to go back to the SAPI 4 version, or I
guess I'm just gonna have to have to use DEC Access 32, or stop using
the beta altogether, a choice I really don't want to have to make.
After all, so far I am finding the new Winamp scripting quite
interesting and potentially helpful.
