Richard,
Should we move it to a more accessible place?
Or it is supposed to be hidden?

Eckart,
This is hosted on a dev machine which isn't generally available
from all internal yahoo ip's. For me it works with both the latest
production Firefox release and the current beta of the next version of
firefox. Can you ping nlparchive.yst.corp.yahoo.com. If not the
difference might be that I usually access the internet using a proxy
as described here except using socks-proxy-internal.yahoo.com.

Here is a link to the partial matching image search haiku.
Richard has put together a variation of HiQu (Eureka, Livesearch)
for images.
As Farzin predicted it, works better for images than for regular
search
In my view, it is amazing!
By virtue of providing multiple query variations, it is so much
easier to get to the query that gives the right images.
The effect is more dramatic that in text search, as a human
evaluates relevance of images much faster than that of text. This
makes scrolling through queries for images so attractive.
Please look at it.
Note that you do not need to complete words:
run chee gives you pictures of beatuful cats, while
run hor show horses
jagu cats and cars -- just scroll though choices
