Hi, I am pleased to announce that thanks to Chris Malton we now have two meetings booked at the University, Saturday 02 April and 07 May. Chris hopes to be there with a few other students from ECS so I hope this is the start of a stable relationship with the University.
Because of building work at the time we won't have Seminar Room 2, so if we
want to do talks we can either use Seminar Room 1 which is set up for A/V or
we can use one of the lecture rooms.
Anton is also investigating going back to IBM, and I hope to have a date for
that for this year too.
Chris said he will also look into the networking, which hasn't worked on our
previous visits.
I'd like to thank everyone who has helped to date, in getting into the
University, and I hope that with a few extra students joining in we can use
the University without having to rely on a single volunteer - which is a bit
unfair on them.
