Todd Lipcon commented on HDFS-1580: ----------------------------------- Hey Ivan - yes, I agree that using the number of bytes is a bit lame, and it would be much nicer to be able to "recover" the inprogress files and properly rename them to an edits_N-M type "finalized" file at startup time.
