Our lab purchased a Leica 2030 microtome (using disposable blades)through Medical Equipment Source. I'd looked at several companies that sell refurbished microtomes, and went with this company because of the cost ($3000) that included a warranty and a newer knife holder than the original one (at my request). They were also very pleasant to deal with. I talked to Luigi Mascio and he was good at keeping in touch by phone and email while the unit was being refurbished for us.

We purchased the microtome back in May of this year (5 months ago) and have had no problems with it thus far - it works beautifully.
