Richard, We have just up-graded to the new Dako Autostainer 48 and after some growing/switching pains (Dako was very responsive in the fixing issues) it is great. The instrument gives very nice consistent results and is also an open system that allows the easy use of other manufactures anti-bodies. If you can call your local rep and get a demo.
