Hello, We have trouble with the larger size punches as well. In order to get the cores to stick to the size try warming the block in a oven at 37 degrees for 15 minutes, put the block face down on a clean slide. (providing the melting temperature of the paraffin is about 57 degrees). After 15 minutes remove the block/slide complex and gently press down on the block, then allow the block to cool. Repeat the process 3 or 4 times. We have also had some success by sliding the block face over the heating unit of the paraffin embedder. But this only works for a few sections and then you get the same problem back.
