I am in the process of setting up stain run for our new stainer and am having a problem getting "crisp" contrast in our H&E. I have adjusted times with little improvement. The stain looks "muddy" I guess. The pathologist says it's the contrast. We are doing skin biopsies. Using Xylene, Gills, richard allen clarifier , doesnt seem like this should be too hard, but it's getting frustrating.
