Some of our samples are from preserved specimen. We have a significant number of students that work/live on farms as well so from time to time we get a chick embryo that did not survive. Also, we have researched and would like to try some plant/seed histology processes.
If alcohol will produce similar results without excessive dehydration that would be a great option for this setting.
