Is the problem that valve doesn´t get the money? Or do the vanilla-server-admins claim the money for their righteous servers?

No, the problem is limited to the deceit and funding deceitful people.

If a server runs mods that alter the game - add bots, extra health, premium accounts that's fine. (well, it's up to valve, not me, as obviously mods are derived works but they are happy about modding)

If a server runs mods that deceive me that their server isn't running these plugins, isn't using bots or has more players on it than it does
then that's a bad thing tm.

At that point it's not really an issue to say "well if people want premium what's wrong with it?" - what's wrong with it is the dishonesty of the people running it. I wouldn't buy milk from gangsters, not because there's anything wrong with buying or selling milk but
because there's a lot wrong with gangsters.
