There are a couple of ways you can check if you learn this maneuver
correctly.  The easiest is to fill slide 1 with blue-tinted water, and
fill slide 2 with yellow-tinted water.  If the liquid that emerges from
slide 3 is green, then you got it right.  The other way is to fill slide 1
with vinegar and fill slide 2 with baking soda solution.  If you do the
maneuver right, you won't have to empty slide 3.  It will empty itself.
