Well, it's been pointed out to me that that rate was actually for a job in Dallas.
But even so: note--and this was my point--the wage isn't $50,000 a year, or $50/hour. It's FIFTY BUCKS A YEAR. Hell, it costs more than that to fill up my gas tank once now.
