Yes, whenever I have a PUR or PURGE EXEC sitting on my A-disk that is designed to prevent me from doing that. :-) Have your CMS user try #CP PURGE RDR ALL. There should be some output from the command, whether it "worked" or not. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
