My understanding:

Yes, Compatible. but, mildly different configurations.

Subject: TCPIP/OSA problem

After further review of our network, it has been determined that the switch
that the z/VM systems are attached to is causing the problem.

We noticed a severe memory shortage on the switch and are unable to log on
to the switch. The switch automatically reboots itself and

everything is fine except the z/VM systems. Our z/OS systems are fine and
show no problem.

Can I assume that TCPIP under z/VM and TCPIP under z/OS are different ?
