Then maybe 'SHUTDOWN RSCS' could be a CP synonym for 'SIGNAL SHUTDOWN USE R RSCS', if RSCS understood signals. Could TCPIP or Dirmaint (or other serv ers besides SFS and Linux) be taught to obey a SHUTDOWN signal?
