Someone mentioned the DVD drive being tied up during the entire VM session. This made me think of something.
I have heard that the newer HMCs run Linux (is this true?). If so, couldn't you make an image copy of the DVD on the hard drive, and then mount that image rather than using the physical drive, if you don't want it tied up? (Not that I understand what *other* use it may have at that time, do you watch movies at your HMC????) ;-) Shimon
