Hello, I could relate to TeaMin story. I was new to VM back then. We had os390 under VM/ESA. I was requested to add some 3390s on the fly rush. So when I finished I decided to do a print screen to documented what I had done. When I hitted print screen the 3270 emulator crashed. Something happenned internally in my pc that caused the emulator to send a logoff instead of a disconnect to the guest machine killing the OS/390. More than 3,000 terminal went off at that moment.
We reported the problem to the vendor of course. From that moment on: no more print screen for me. I'm telling you: that was not funny. I never tried to reproduce the problem to see if it was fixed. We changed the emulator. Murphy really works overtime. OS/390 V2.10 is running uder z/VM. I logged on z/VM userid to see OS/390 Master Console in IBM personal communication and suddenly my laptop was dead. Unfortunately, OS/390 was crashed and forced by z/VM system at the same time. I think that even though my laptop is dead and session is suddenly closed, it must be still running and can be reconnected by "LOGON USERID HERE" i don't understand why this happened.
