I never got THE to work on my Mac, which is why I never switched to it. ( I use BBedit/TextWrangler on the Mac. Does syntax coloring.). I still use KEDIT on the PC at work, and XEDIT on VM.
And no, KEDIT still does not support prefix macros. Mansfield has announc ed end of support for KEDIT. "We plan to provide e-mail technical support for KEDIT, on a part- time basis, until at least June 2012." Lately I have switched to starting to learn Vim -- it works on PC, Mac, a nd Windows. Not, of course, on VM. I think it supports Perl instead of REXX for macros, but I haven't got that far.
