Hi, I have Windows XP installed in my home system and I want to install Ubuntu 11.10. I have downloaded the required iso image of ubuntu. Now problem is my DVD drive is not working. So I created USBstick install but on boot up it's not detecting. I have enabled USB boot in BIOS setup and selected the USB stick to install in BIOS boot menu option but it ends up starting windows. The same USBstick works fine with other new PCs.
