**Sorry for sending this message at last moment** The TeNeT Group of IIT-Madras and LIRNEasia, a telecom policy NGO in SriLanka have developed the AT Methodology for measuring broadband quality of service experience(QoSE). This provides a subscriber oriented measure of the service quality, as opposed to the raw bandwidth advertised by the operators. This has been used to evaluate broadband services in South Asia over the past 2 years.
Based on this methodology, recently tests have been conducted by chosen subscribers in various major cities across India and in some of the States. The results of these tests will be presented in a Seminar to be held in GRT Grand, T Nager, Chennai on Tue Nov 3rd, 2009, 4-7PM. If you are interested to participate in this event, please send a confirmation mail to me (before 2PM) with your contact number, for planning purposes, as the seating is limited. Bye :) -- Bharathi S _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email ilugc-requ...@ae.iitm.ac.in with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
