TATA proton HAS no LINUX  support  am stuck with  one when I  called
their help-desk and was told they have no linux support as of now
however some people have tried they said depends on the model one has. I
have a Hauwai usb which they said WILL NOT SUPPORT LINUX You can try
Reliance they mostly supply ZTE and ZTE has linux support.
