You are probably out of luck.  Slot loading drives have never been
common, and, as far I know, have no standard design.  Most slim tray
drives are externally identical and interchangeable, so it is easy to
find a replacement for the first few iMac models.  But Apple is the
only name I know that primarily uses slot drives, and I do not know if
the drives in various models are compatible.
