I concur..upgrading the memory is cheap and effective. I have the 20"  
Core Duo model, and with 1GB it was heir to all sorts of maddening  
slowdowns and pauses. I typically have a lot of apps open, but none  
very heavy on the CPU.

Not the new AL ones.
